ASSEMBLY/PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN II - The Assembly and Production Technician job is a full time, entry level position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete final assembly of products including installation of both wiring and mechanical assembly of product components.
  • Test and troubleshoot electronic components used in final assembly.
  • Operate CNC Mill and other machinery used in machining parts for final assembly.
  • Basic inventory management of all components used in final assembly.
  • Supervise/Schedule Assembly Tech III to maintain consistent supply of components parts and pieces used in final assembly.
  • Help Assembly tech III maintain warehouse and work space.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical concepts
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Able to lift/push/pull over 70 lbs.
  • 2+ years working in manufacturing or electrical field
  • Associates degree (Manufacturing, Technical Theatre, Electronics)
  • Prior experience soldering, working with machinery

Electronic Technical Support – (This is NOT an IT or electrical position) The Technical Support position is a full time, management level position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answer customer calls regarding technical and usage difficulties
  • Writes manuals for all products
  • Writes data sheets for all products
  • Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions
  • Can troubleshoot down to component level from a schematic
  • Can differentiate on a schematic between the different components
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 3 years of technical training experience
  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Associates degree (Manufacturing, Technical Theatre, Electronics)

QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN – The Quality Assurance Technician position is a full time level II position. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review finished goods to ensure customer specifications and quality
  • requirements are met-visually and measurably
  • Approves the return/rework of non-conforming materials
  • Assists in problem solving and process improvement efforts
  • Implements corrective and preventative actions
  • Develops and documents the quality procedures
  • Trains co-workers on adherance to quality assurance procedures
  • Maintains written records for UL requirements
  • Acquire and maintain expert-level knowledge of all product functionality
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and ability to use standard test equipment such as digital multimeter, hypot tester and an oscilloscope
  • Personal attributes required include attention to detail, desire to learn, self- motivated, excellent problem solver and effective communication
  • May require lifting up to 70 pounds
Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 2+ years of understanding how theatrical lighting systems work
  • Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical concepts
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • 2+ years working in manufacturing or electrical field
  • Prior experience soldering, working with machinery
